Hypertek music artiste, Oyindamola Johnson
Emmanuel aka Dammy Krane, has disclosed that his early beginning in church,
helped discipline him today which has enable him to stay up in his career.
According to Dammy Krane, while in the toddler choir of his church at age
six, was forced to sing and as such, made him learn lots about music notes.
He disclosed that the reason why he had to transit from normal music to Fuji
was because his mother was a fuji artiste manager and that influenced his
choice of music.
Inspired by artistes like Fela Kuti, Femi Kuti, Lagbaja, King Sunny Ade,
2Face, D’¬Banj and Sauce kid, he started recording songs on his own and
performing at various university shows with his ability to merge all genres of
music.
He credits his signing to Hypertek Records to a chance meeting with 2Baba at
a birthday party, adding that 2Baba Idibia had seen him perform and made the
decision to sign him.
