Nigerian Army Battle Boko Haram To Reclaim Mubi, Michika In Adamawa



There is an ongoing battle between the Nigerian soldiers and the Boko Haram insurgents in Mubi area of Adamawa State.

According to Gistmania, the troops are reportedly have engaged the insurgents in a fierce battle all through Sunday night and Monday morning to reclaim Michika, a suburb of the volatile state.

Fighter jets are bombing the hideouts of the extremists while foot soldiers battle their locations around Michika local government area secretariat, the report said.

A dusk to dawn curfew has been imposed on the town by the military in order to restore sanity.
