Who doesn’t love rapping along to their favorite hip-hop songs? Here at MTV News, it’s one of our favorite things to do. For the most part, we’re pretty spot on, hitting each word with the precision of Eminem. Still, there are those rare exceptions when we’re just at a loss.

Yeah, sometimes it’s just impossible to keep up to Tech N9ne’s machine gun flow, or Young Thug’s yips and yelps. We can admit when we’re beat, so here are 19 songs that are impossible for us to rap word for word without the help of Genius.

Jason Statham Confirms Fast & Furious 8 Involvement

At the "Fast & Furious - Supercharged" thrill ride red carpet premiere, Jason Statham told Access Hollywood he will be returning for Fast & Furious 8.

Furious 7 has been a juggernaut at the box office this year, surpassing The Avengers recently to become the third highest grossing film of all-time. "Yeah, it just shows the fanbase is very unique. They really do relate to the characters. They love these characters. They've followed them for years and years," Statham said of the Furious 7's box office performance so far. "We're already talking about doing another one, Part 8. I'm a newcomer, I just got invited to the party on this last one. It is nice to know I'll be doing another."

Last we saw of Statham's Deckard Shaw, he was locked away in a maximum security prison. Although, he did promise to bust out one day and seek revenge. Statham wouldn't share any of the plot, but "there is some great stuff that I already know about."

Fast & Furious 8 is set for release April 14, 2017.

How did they do it? After bumbling around as the decidedly cuddly Andy Dwyer in Parks and Recreation, Chris Pratt had to shift some serious poundage to gain a body fit for a Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy.

By subscribing to a grueling workout plan, including four to six sessions a week and entirely changing his way of thinking about eating with the help of nutritionalist Phil Goglia, Chris Pratt transformed his figure in just six months.

Quote: Although everyone is enamored with the buff new Pratt, the 35-year-old star is a realist when it comes to keeping in shape. He told Men's Health magazine that:

"I can tell that people are motivated by my transformations, and that feels really good. But everyone should know when the movie star stuff is over, I might go back to being the fat guy. How did they do it? When she signed up to play Fantine, the destitute prostitute in Les Miserables , Hathaway knew that she would have to look totally malnourished to be convincing in the role.

Although the role won her an Oscar, Anne Hathaway really had to struggle to force her already slim frame to drop the pounds and she ended up eating just 2 thin squares of dried oatmeal per day to drop the final 15lbs. Ouch.

Quote: Hathaway admits that she had to be totally obsessed with the idea of losing weight to be able to pull off such an extreme diet. She explained:

"I had to be obsessive about it–the idea was to look near death. Looking back on the whole experience–and I don't judge it in any way—it was definitely a little nuts. How did they do it? Fifty Cent lost a staggering amount of weight for the movie Things Fall Apart, which is about a football player who succumbs to cancer.

After taking on the role to honor a friend who died of cancer, 50 Cent lost a staggering 50lbs from his ripped physique by running on a treadmill for three hours a day and living off a liquid diet.

Quote: 50 Cent was desperate to visually convey the ravaging effects of cancer to his audience, he explained:

"I was so into what I was doing that I wasn't really concerned with that. I just kept looking at myself in the mirror feeling like I have to be smaller. I had to match. I had so much muscle on me that it was hard for me to lose definition even as I got lighter and slimmer. I started running to suppress my appetite. Towards the end it was really difficult. It was like, if I don't get close enough to what my best friend looked like to me at that point before he passed, then I'm not doing the story any justice."

Matthew McConaughey - Dallas Buyers Club 

Weight loss/gain: A loss of 47lbs

How did they do it? To be convincing as a man dying of AIDS in Dallas Buyers Club, Matthew McConaughey had to loose a lot of weight, so he put himself on a severely dull diet to seriously shrink himself.

McConaughey once claimed that he ate two egg whites and a plain fillet of chicken with a can of diet coke every day to loose the weight. He also shut himself inside for six months to gain a deathly pallor.

Quote: Although losing the weight was hard going, McConaughey did experience some unexpected side effects, he explained:

"The surprise was how the energy that I lost from the neck down transferred to the neck up. I became clinically aware, almost hyper, I needed three hours less sleep a night. I had an amazing amount of energy from the head up. That was something I didn't know was going to happen."

Christian Bale - The Machinist 

Weight loss/gain: A loss of 63lbs

How did they do it? Losing 63lbs in four months is no mean feat and Bale achieved his truly skeletal frame by eating an apple and a can of tuna every day.

Losing so much weight so quickly had some pretty dire consequences for Bale including losing so much muscle elasticity that his ass literally dropped off his hip sockets, but the 41-year-old actor is no stranger to extreme body transformations.

Why Buhari won’t intervene in NASS crisis – Aide

he Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba Shehu, on Thursday said President Muhammadu Buhari would not intervene in the leadership crisis currently rocking the National Assembly until the All Progressives Congress’ state governors ask him to do so.

Shehu said this while featuring on Sunrise, a programme of a Lagos-based private television station, ChannelsTV.

He said Buhari would only step into the matter at the point when the APC state governors inform him that they cannot fix the problem.

He said that was necessary because the governors had during a meeting they had with the President on Tuesday night promised to handle the issue.

He said, “When the governors met with the President, they told him that ‘we are the leaders in our states and we have influence over all of these senators. They come from our places and from us and we can handle it.’

“The President will step into the crisis at the point when the governors say they can no longer fix it.”

In the event that he decides to intervene, the presidential spokesman said Buhari would not do that to the level of imposing leaders on the lawmakers.

Shehu said Buhari’s position on the matter had remained that the National Assembly is an independent arm of government and he would not be seen meddling in their affairs.

He said the governors while advising the President to maintain his posture, asked him to allow them handle the matter their own way.

He said the President has a responsibility to the party and to the nation.

He also said despite what was currently playing out in the National Assembly, the situation had not gone out of control.

“The President has a responsibility to the party, the President has a responsibility to the nation and as far as we are looking at the situation it has not gotten out of control. It is still within manageable parameters, it is a little storm we will overcome and Nigerians better get used to it,” he added.

Apparently reacting to a statement credited to the National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Alhaji Lai Muhammed, that Buhari is not the leader of the party, Shehu said the President was the leader.

“Does it need to be said? I don’t think it needs to be said that the President is the leader of his party. There’s no question about it,” he declared.

He added that there is need for Nigerians to understand the basics of politics as the country is no more in the military era when decrees are made by a single leader.

“Politics, as its theory says, is basically about contest for interests and these interests may be fully defined by political party programme, while some of these things may be outside political party programme,” he said.

While corroborating Buhari’s claim that he inherited virtually empty treasury, the presidential spokesman challenged Nigerians to ask a former Minister of National Planning, Dr. Abubakar Suleiman, to give further explanations on the $30billion he claimed the former government left behind.

Whether it’s the faces that appear on our money, the (limited) races of Middle Earth, or the “flesh” and “nude” colored Band-Aids, bras or make-up you can buy (whose “flesh” and “nude” are they looking at, anyway?) they all point to a really uncomfortable conclusion: So many things in our culture are just built around being white. It goes deeper than just the things we consume. We’re talking about people’s everyday lives being molded and shaped by whiteness — the lack of knowledge and understanding of cultural cues, the expectations that go along with the hidden biases about race and the glaring holes in popular culture that don’t acknowledge (let alone celebrate) the wealth of different shades and experiences that are out there.

And, if you happen to be white, these are things you may never have even noticed.

Rick Ross Arrested on Kidnapping and Assault Charges (He was taken into custody this morning)

Rick Ross is facing kidnapping and assault charges after an arrest was made outside of his mansion in Atlanta Wednesday morning.

The Associated Press reports a U.S. Marshals Service fugitive task force and deputies arrested Ross and his bodyguard. They were both taken into custody earlier today in Fayette County.

Jim Joyner, a supervisor with the Marshal’s Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force, says Ross is being held on charges of kidnapping, aggravated assault and aggravated battery. His bodyguard is facing the same charges.

According to WSB-TV, sources say Ross was having work done at his property he bought in Fayette County when he got into a fight with one of the workers. He allegedly pistol-whipped him. TMZ is saying that the incident happened two weeks ago.

An advert for a house in Indonesia has gone viral online after the woman selling it offered to throw in an unusual extra feature for free — her hand in marriage.

The Internet ad reads for the most part like a regular house listing, saying that the single-storey property has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a parking space and a fish pond.

But it also proposes to buyers a “rare offer” — “when you buy this house, you can ask the owner to marry you”, alongside a picture of Wina Lia, a 40-year-old widow and beauty salon owner, leaning against a car in front of the house.

The ad said that terms and conditions apply, and notes the offer is “for serious buyers and non-negotiable”. The house in Sleman, on the island of Java, is on the market for 999 million rupiah (about $75,000).

News of the offer quickly spread among Internet users in social media-crazy Indonesia.

Boldies99, a user on popular online forum Kaskus, said Lia was “quite smart — even though the house will be sold, she will remain the owner.”

Lia told AFP she was “shocked at the reaction”, as she had been overwhelmed by journalists coming to interview her, and even the police in the conservative, Muslim-majority country had been asking questions.

The police “came to verify the news as they consider it as an improper advertisement. But I explained to them that it was not my idea,” she said.

The mother of two explained that she had asked a friend who was a property agent to help her find a buyer — and in the process a husband — but she had expected him to pass on the news to a limited number of people, not put an ad online.

“I told a friend of mine who also works as property agent that if there is a buyer who is a single man or a widower who wants to buy a house, and at the same time look for a wife, he can let me know as I’m also a widow,” she said.

She added that there was only one potential buyer, who had visited on Wednesday, but refused to give further details.
